As usual for this competition, both clubs each submit 30 DPIs, which are shown in random order and judged “cold” on the night. We were pleased to welcome Ian Bateman as judge, who gave comprehensive critique before giving scores out of 10.
At the end of the evening, the scores were: Maldon 233, Honiton 252, so victory to us in the first leg. Let’s hope we are equally successful in the second leg, held at Maldon.
