This evening’s session was led by David Faulkes, Internal Competitions Member. David began by introducing members to this genre of photography and what it involves.
A series of AV presentations were shown throughout the evening, some made by David and by fellow member, Norman Pettet, together with those made by other accomplished local AV producers. The subjects of the presentations were quite wide-ranging, including formal gardens, travelogues, historical themes and creative work.
The one that probably stuck in our memories the most was one about the work of L.S. Lowry, to the accompaniment of the catchy “Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats & Dogs”!
