VICTORY IN THE HONITON v MALDON BATTLE!

The second leg of this annual Battle took place on 25 March 2021, hosted by Maldon Camera Club, with images judged by Mike Fuller.  It was a close run thing but we retained our first leg lead, with final total scores being Honiton 483, Maldon 477.5.  This was the first time we had won this competition in 10 years!  Well done to all involved.

REPLACEMENT HORSESHOE COMPETITION 18 MARCH 2021

This year’s Horseshoe competition between local Camera Clubs, presently Sidmouth, Axminster, Chard and Honiton was held online comprising DPI’s only with 2 sections, Section 1: 8 images per club taken Since Lockdown (23rd March 2020) and section 2: 8 images taken anytime Before Lockdown, but not more than 5 years old.  The entries were judged by Penny Piddock AFIAP, DPAGB on 18 March 2021.

Our Club came third overall.  Thanks to all who took part and congratulations to Steve Eckhardt for getting joint 1st. place in the Since Lockdown section with his dramatic image “Wave Walker Night Shift”.

PROGRAMME FOR 2020-2021

A provisional programme has been prepared for the whole of the 2020-2021 season (but can be subject to change at short notice). All meetings will be hosted via Zoom as it is not practical to resume meetings in the Methodist Church Hall with the current restrictions in place.  Click on “Programme” for details.
