This regular annual feature of our meetings programme gave us the opportunity to see some of the best images from the recent WCPF members exhibition. There was a total of 71 prints for us to view and comment on, which were shown in alphabetical order, by title.
A list of the prints had been prepared for the meeting, each numbered from 1 – 71 for members to score and, at the end of the viewing, to indicate their top 5 images on the list. These were then collated and there appeared to be a general level of agreement on what was considered to be the best prints.
This proved to be an ideal approach to viewing and assessing the prints and was a very participative evening. Thanks to David Faulkes and Lynda Piper for the organisation and presentation, and to Leslie for the cake!
