Members enjoyed a good selection of prints from the WCPF Travelling Exhibition, including one each from two of our own members.
Each print was appraised by member Donna Spencer, who is a newly accredited WCPF judge. Donna gave a fair critique of each print, describing what she felt worked within the image and perhaps where improvements could be made. She also shared what she liked and didn’t like, preferring realistic representations rather than photo-art, although she could appreciate the appeal of those and the work that is needed to produce a successful print.
Members were also given the opportunity to comment on the prints. It was felt that there was a good variety of prints, although again, members had their preferences in style and content .
