We were pleased to welcome Ken Holland as judge for our first Club competition of the season, especially as it has been some years since his last visit.
The set subjects were: Colour Print – “Dutch Tilt”; Mono Print – “Isolation”; DPI – “Repetition”, plus Open entries. The number of entries, particularly prints, were unusually lower than in previous competitions. Nevertheless, there was a good range of quality images on display. Ken gave fair and well-received critique, whilst also offering useful advice, and the winners were:-
Colour Open – Steve Mallon for “Locked In Deadly Embrace”.
Colour Set – Lynda Piper for “After One Too Many”.
Mono Set – Steve Mallon for “I Want To Be Alone”.
Mono Open – Andy McGarty for “Stop And Listen To The Music”.
DPI Set – Greg Bodnar for “Tipsy”.
DPI Open – Steve Eckhardt for “Travelling Light”.
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Ken for judging.
